Day 1: Arrival and Pick-Up from The Airport to Entebbe/Kampala
Day 2: Transfer from Entebbe/Kampala to Gulu Town-Kitgum
Day 3: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
Day 4: Morning and Afternoon Game Drives in Kidepo Valley National Park
Day 5: Transfer to Karamojong Villages and Cultural Explore
After morning breakfast, you will visit the homes of the Karamojong, interact with the elders and get to know more about the lifestyle, culture and behaviors of the one-time pastoral group or choose to do more game drives and more optional activities, on this day. While on your tour, along the way in the afternoon after a lunch break, you will travel to Moroto town, the heart of the Karamoja area for the cultural activities tomorrow. The Karamoja tented camp in Moroto is located in the beating heart of the Karamoja region at the slopes of Mount Moroto (3085m). This is a central location serving as the perfect base for your adventure through north-east Uganda the camp design is a blend of traditional customs and local materials with a modern touch. Your time here brings you a unique experience of heritage, comfort and hospitality during Uganda safari through Uganda’s untouched northeast. Thereafter your guide will be there around to provide you with park/wildlife information and answer your curious questions. For your information come prepared with cameras and binoculars. After you shall return back to the lodge for dinner and stay overnight.
Day 6: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
On this very day in the morning, you will begin your day with morning breakfast and then you will drive to Murchison Falls National Park is located in the North-West of Uganda in Masindi District at the end of the Albertine Rift Valley which is the largest and oldest National Park in Uganda. The Park sites on an area of about 4000 square kilometers, Murchison Falls Conservation Area are bisected by the Victoria Nile, which plunges 45m over the remnant valley wall, creating the dramatic falls. You will reach in the late evening and transfer to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7: Early Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise
Day 8: Departure to Kampala City Via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Have a relaxed breakfast and prepare for your journey to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola. The Rhino Tracking take about one to two hours, depending on the location of the rhinos and is done on foot, unlike other typical game drives. There are over 70 park rangers whose job is to ensure the general well-being and safety of the rhinos and assist tourists in spotting the rhinos during tracking. The tracking activity necessitates one to have closed shoes, long pants, water, and insect repellent other activities with the Sanctuary include bird watching where you spot Shoebill, Canoe Ride, Night Walk, Nature Walk and among other activities. Visiting the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is a wonderful Uganda safari experience, and it brings you to a very close and safe distance to these magnificent creatures. And then transfer to Kampala/Entebbe Airport or at any agreed drop-off location. Or you will be dropped off at your hotel/lodge or at any place of your inconvenience
