Upon your arrival in Rwanda, our driver/guide for the safari and representative of our company will pick you up at a location of your choice in Kigali city or you can also be picked up from the airport in Kigali international airport. On your first meeting with your driver/guide, you will be welcomed, briefed about the tour and get transferred to Kigali city for the city tour visiting a number of rewarding sites like the Kigali genocide memorial museum among others. Later in the afternoon, you will proceed to Ruhengeri town and check in at your booked lodge for dinner or relaxation and overnight stay will be at the same lodge.

After an early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will make your way to the park headquarters where you will take part in the briefing session, you will make your way to the gorillas lead by a park ranger/guide in the wild. The experience of gorilla tracking is a once in a lifetime adventure, the rangers will lead you deep into the forest in search of the Mountain Gorillas. You will make your way through the rugged terrain until you finally meet these gentle giants in the wild which you will spend one hour with them. The gorilla tracking experience in Rwanda can take 3-5 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. In the afternoon you may go for an optional village tour for a cultural experience with a resident local guide. Later you driver/guide will return you back at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After an amazing breakfast at the lodge, you will proceed pack your belongings and check out. While your driver/guide will pick you from your lodge and transfer you to the park headquarters for the briefing session and for your golden monkey tracking experience in Rwanda. During Golden Monkeys Tracking in Volcanoes National Park, where you will have about 3 to 4 hours tracking and getting to spend one hour with the endangered monkey species. Thereafter you driver/guide return you to the lodge where you will freshen up, check out and get transferred to Nyungwe Forest National Park with lunch En-route break and arriving in the evening at Nyungwe National Park, where you shall spend a night, you will proceed and check-in for dinner or relaxation and overnight stay.

After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the forests for the searching of the active and playful fellows in Nyungwe Forest National Park. The Chimpanzees are the easiest to spot, as they jump from one tree to another, chattering and laughing which can take about 3 hours or more accordingly. After a lunch break, you will go on a walking trail the igishigishigi trail that will take you to the Canopy Walk at Uwinka. During the activity You will be able to see the amazing rainforest with a bird’s eye view, spotting wildlife moving about below you. Later you driver/guide will return you back at the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay at the lodge.

After morning breakfast you will have a birding tour around your lodge area, later return back in your room and prepare your belongings then you will check out and start on your return journey to Rwanda’s capital with lunch break and stopovers along the way. On arrival in Kigali city of the hills, you will continue to the airport for your flight back home. Or you will be dropped off at your hotel/lodge or at any place of your inconvenience.
